In 2050, in a post apocalyptic and dangerous Bristol, the people live in factory towns, as full time government snoops or as outcasts. Tank Granny has held her stronghold ever since the pandemic of 2019, through the technoplague and economy crash and chemical disasters. The Spiderkin, a group of young and mischievous survivalists often seek refuge and advice in her garden… The story unfolds as they puzzle over what went wrong and what would save the human race as they know it.
